Class posting is a feature provided for the teachers to showcase the classes they conduct or wish to conduct in the future. Teachers use different methods to teach your students. Through class posting feature, FMG has given you the opportunity to showcase all type of classes you conduct targeting students in different student groups or batches.
In a class you post, you have to focus on students doing a specific syllabus, specific subject and a specific batch. You can use this class posting to address each and every student targeted and tell them what is your plan for them. This information will give students and parents an idea of what they can expect to learn in your class.
When you post all the classes you conduct, students and parents can know about how you provide your services for them which will allow them to decide which classes they can attend for.
The classes posted in your webpage will showcase how you spend your time every week to teach for senior secondary education students, so that students will know how you are available for them to attend your classes.
Note – You have to post classes in order to appear in the search result done by students and parents from the class search engine in Findmyguru.lk. The more you post classes, you can reach your potential students in different batches.

No. A single class posted can only address a single batch with the selected class conducting capacity.
If you need to address students in every batch (if A/L – 2021 A/L, 2022 A/L & 2023 A/L or O/L – Grade 10 & 11), you need to create classes for each of them separately.
You need to create classes by covering to what batch you are conducting classes and class capacities you are willing to teach. Then you can get the full exposure in with findmyguru.lk search engine.
To differentiate classes from other classes, you need to state what is your plan of this class.
Your class title and class description are the strongest factors that determine if students enroll in your class. So be concise and specific. Think about your target student and the questions they might have before they enroll like how does this class help their exam and personal lives?
follow these general guidelines when posting them:
*Address your students directly (say “you,” not “students”)
*Be conversational and approachable
*Write in a natural, informative, and action-oriented style
Also you can also create an image for the class photos to represent your class, If you want your style and personality shine through your class image .
You will get the contact information of those enrolled student or parent through an email. Then you can contact them and find out how you can help them as a teacher.
Additionally, this will be an option for you to manage your students base as you will get the contact information. Even you can update the posted classes from your profile so that those who enrolled can see the updates of your classes from FMG student profiles.
Go through the following steps to get the idea to count the number of classes you need to post.
Step 1 – Take a subject you teach and decide the batch you need to cover by posting classes. Then refer to the following requirements to decide the number of classes you need to post.
Step 2 – Accordingly, you can decide how many classes you need to post to cover students in all batches.
Step 3 – If you are teaching more subjects or the same subject under different syllabuses or streams, go through the above process to decide the number of classes you need to post to cover students on different subjects and different syllabuses.
Note – You can post classes only to connect new students for your new classes. But posting older classes and asking your students to enroll for those classes may improve your credibility on your new potential students.
